Sundance Horse Ranch offers a unique horseback riding lesson experience to horseback riders of all types. Are you tired of riding horses around in circles in the same old arena over and over again? Tired of riding the same old horse that can (and sometimes actually does) circle the arena in his sleep? Or has your child gotten bored or frustrated by their lack of progress?
Horseback riding students never get bored here!
Whether the student is a true beginner, or almost a professional, five years old or retired, Sundance Horse Ranch will create a horseback riding lesson plan suited to each rider’s needs. All horseback riding students are assessed based on their skill level, experiences, and capabilities and one of the beginner through advancing lesson horses are selected for the rider. Our goal is to maintain the riders safety yet continue to challenge the horseback student to grow and improve their skills. A rider can never reach his full potential in an arena. Our horseback riding lessons are given on miles of scenic trails, in various pastures, the large arena or elsewhere on the ranch.
Don't restrict yourself to hours and hours of riding around in endless circles. Look what You could be missing!
There is no reason for a horseback riding student to get bored. After basic horsemanship is achieved, your riding lessons are then specialized based on what each horseback riders needs or interests are. Students may learn to lope, negotiate any of the dozens of on-site obstacles, learn to back your horse, side pass, jumping, run the barrels, ranch sorting, herding cattle, swimming your horse, cutting cattle, and even bareback riding.
Lessons may be given by any of our staff, but each student is personally evaluated by Dorothy Wynne
Graduate to our Intern program and learn responsibility and respect along with a marketable skill.
. Lessons $60 to $75 per hour.
