Tired of riding in endless lessons circles, riding in a small lesson arena, or only a small area, for 30 minutes? Watching your child on a horse that is a robot? At Sundance Ranch, we teach all levels of riders whether you are a beginner, advanced, young or young at heart. We are located near Houston and near Pearland for your convenience. All riders are assessed and guided towards the most appropriate lesson for their riding ability. Miles of trails for riding and learning on various levels of horses negotiating obstacles and learning to actually be safe while you enjoy living the dream!!! Learn cow tracking, swim your horse, bareback riding, care of your partner, and compete at various SunDance Ranch sponsored events!!!

Western & English Riding Instruction
Everyone will be assessed in a private lesson. Western or English riding takes a combination of balance, strength, and knowledge. We will build your strength & balance while giving you the knowledge. Our riders advance into groups once they have mastered the ability to control there animal at a walk trot and lope. They must be able to work outside the comfort of the arena!!!! All while in a safe and fun environment.
Price:$50/hr (Private = 1 rider) | Group Instruction
Instruction is provided through a series of lessons for children and adults. From beginners to experienced riders who want the challenge of improving their riding skills. These groups learn obstacle negotiation, by progressing through a series of horses that offer challenges to there acquired skills while remaining safe and having fun.
Price: $45 each/hr (2 to 3 riders) $40 each/hr (4 and up) |
Obstacle & Trail Instruction
American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) & American Horsemanship Challenge Association (AHCA) Formerly (EXCA) courses allow riders and horses to become accustomed to various obstacles and terrains. Our Certified judges/instructors will help you taking the wining ribbons!!!
