Kaitlyn McDaniel
Katy started riding at 5 years old. Her passion for horses shines above all her other talents and hobbies. She is a brave and accomplished young lady with skills not just in riding but she exels in photography, rides a motorcycle and mentors other children here at the ranch. Her parents Les and Karry have raised her to be respectful, kind, assertive, and joyful. Always a smile on her face much like her mom yet the wit and snap of her Dad.
Katy moved away from the Manvel area and through the tears she grew stronger. My finest compliment came from other trainers who said, someone had really taught her how to ride. Still brings pride to my heart. All those hours of riding no stirrups. Some days Katy made me feel so accomplished. The greatest accomplishment is for your riders to become better than you. Katy is one of those.
She has run barrels and shown in hunter jumper successfully.

Katy Loved english riding. She excelled, even with out a horse. Her Dad (Katy would tell me later) was wise, in not getting her a horse. It meant, she would become quite the rider by riding many horses. Winning ribbon after ribbon she would send me pictures of her accomplishments. I must say I would beam with pride. I always hoped she would come back to teach others what she had learned and would pass on, by teaching, what she had learned not only from me but from others.
